Nucor Tubular Products manufactures ERW Pipe Piling to ASTM A252 in Grades 1, 2, and 3 in sizes ranging from 6.625” O.D. to 18” O.D., in walls from .188” to .688” and lengths up to 78 feet. The most popular pipe piling sizes of 10.75” OD and 12.75” OD are produced in our Marseilles, Illinois and Decatur, Alabama locations with a four-week production cycle for ongoing and more immediate needs. The 14″, 16″, and 18″ OD piling sizes are produced in our Decatur, AL mill only with an eight-week production cycle.
Quality
Weight: Each length of pipe shall not vary more than 15% over or 5% under its theoretical weight, calculated using its length and its weight per unit length.
Wall Thickness Tolerance: Wall thickness at any point shall not be more than 12.5% under the specified nominal wall thickness.
Outside Dimension of Tolerances: Outside diameter shall not vary more than ±1% from the specified outside diameter.
