Flux leakage is not only a crucial step for ROPS (Roll Over Protective) applications, it’s designed for anyone who needs a superior tube. By measuring the “leakage” of the magnetic field on a material’s surface, our flux leakage test is able to detect potential defects from ID and OD notches to pinholes. A magnetic flux is generated in the tube and any leakage from the tube is easily detected by using superior absolute channels and differential channels, which are the ultimate proven platforms to detect and analyze abnormalities in the weld.
